A Mass of Christian Burial for Christine Guillory will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 10, 2024 at Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church in Plaucheville with Rev. Martin Laird officiating.  Burial will follow in the Mater Dolorosa Mausoleum.  Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Plaucheville.

Mrs. Guillory, age 80 of Plaucheville, passed away on Monday, October 7, 2024 at her sons' home in Sunset.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Jimmy Guillory; a son, John Jules Guillory; her parents, Lincoln Jules and Malena Mary Bordelon; and her siblings, Gerral "Bub" Bordelon, Dwayne Bordelon, and Vicky Arnaudville.

Survivors include her son, Cayle Guillory and his wife Frances of Sunset; her grandchildren, Taylor Gauthier, Morgan Kimble, Kade Guillory, Caleb Kimble and Lincoln Guillory and her great-granddaughter, Jolie Grace Gauthier.

Pallbearers will include:  Kade Guillory, Lincoln Guillory, Eric Bordelon, Gaynell Bordelon, Scott Bordelon and Ken Gauthier.

Friends may visit on Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a rosary at 6:30 p.m. and Thursday from 8:00 a.m. until 9:45 a.m. at Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Plaucheville.
