Memorial Service for Chris Campo will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday July 16, 2022 at Our Savior's Church Lafayette Campus, 1201 E Broussard Rd, Lafayette, LA 70508

Chris Campo, 60, joined the chorus of Heaven on Tuesday, July 5, 2022.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Norman and Selma Campo.

Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Emily Richard Campo of Morrow; his children, Taylor Michael Campo and wife Madison of Lafayette, Connor James Campo of Baton Rouge, Cameron Paul Campo of Denham Springs, Tanner Joshua Campo of Lafayette, Shelby Elisabeth Campo of Rayne, Ian Jude Campo of Morrow, Parker David Campo of Morrow and Cooper Job Campo of Morrow; a brother, Keith Campo with wife Sonia of Luling; and a sister, Karen Campo of Viola, AR.

Chris Campo was larger than life. His greatest joy and deepest passion were to tell others about the Good News of Jesus Christ. He lived a life of remarkable faith, and the light he radiated was infectious. His genuine zest for life and wonderfully peculiar view of the scripture and life affected and impacted everyone who knew him. Chris Campo truly loved his wife as Christ loved the church: unconditionally, sacrificially, joyfully, endlessly. He was a remarkable father who filled his children's' lives with love, laughter, and fierce competitive nature.
