Funeral services for Mrs. Cherry Dee Tanner White will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at First Christian Church in Cheneyville with the Charley Hoyt and George Hoyt officiating.  Burial will follow in the Christian Cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at 10:30 a.m. at the church.  Arrangement under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.

Mrs. White, age 86 of Cheneyville, passed away on Thursday, August 19, 2021 at the Bayou Vista Community Care Center.

She is preceded in death by her parents; Ray and Delia Pearl Coles Tanner; sisters, Lerline Tanner Hensarling, Georgia Ray Tanner Bush; and brothers, Kenny Milton Tanner and Buddy Boy Tanner.

Survivors include her sons, Ray Tyrus White and wife Nelda and Rodney P. White and wife Renee; sister, Jennie Sue Tanner Hoyt; special friends, Libby Gayle and Charlotte McNutt, Wanda Daigrepont and Judy Everett; numerous nieces and nephews and her special little dog "Willie".

Pallbearers will be Jim Thibodeaux, Lee Stanley, Jamie Stanley, Zack Stanley, Jude Thiels, Edward Beaver, Cliff Land and Reggie Allen.  Honorary pallbearers include; Brandon Hoyt, Cory Hoyt and Bo Hoyt.
