Funeral services for Charles Blank will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 17, 2026 in the chapel of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Plaucheville with Bro. Benji Richard officiating.  Burial will follow at a later date in the Bayou Jacque Church of Christ Cemetery.  Arrangement are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Plaucheville.

Mr. Blank, age 75 of Plaucheville, passed away on Tuesday, January 13, 2026 at his residence surrounded by his loved ones.

Charles was a dedicated, devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather.  He enjoyed cooking for his family and always enjoyed a good cup of coffee.  He was also a member of the Dupont Volunteer Fire Department.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Etta Pearl Lagrange Blank; his parents, Pershing Joseph and Angelina Desalvo Blank; brothers, Carlo D. Blank and Russell Blank and great-grandson, Landon Faust.

Survivors include his children, Linda Kay Lacombe (Conley) of Fifth Ward, Wilson Quebedeaux (Darlene) of Fifth Ward, Glenn Quebedeaux (Marie) of Plaucheville, Cindy Q. Breaux(Barney) of Bayou Gauche and Jennifer Quebedeaux of Goudeau; sister, Rosalie Naquin (Daniel); brother, Pershing Blank, Sr. (Geraldine); grandchildren, Mandi Ponthieux (Don), Dondi Lacombe (Becky), Nancy Anglin (Cecil), Corey Quebedeaux (Monica), Lauren Faust (Jonathan), Rannon Breaux, and Taylor Stokes; numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews and "devoted" niece, Judy Barbre.

Honorary pallbearers are Pershing Blank, Jr., Colt Lemoine, Gabe Hidalgo, Warren Lemoine, Will Anglin, Terry Carmardelle and Keith Redmon.

Friends may visit on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. at Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Plaucheville.
