A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, May 11, 2015 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church with the Rev. Scott Chemino officiating. Burial will follow in the Pythian Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.

Mr. Gauthier, age 47 of Bunkie, passed away on Friday, May 08, 2015 at Rapides Regional Medical Center.

Chad managed the Royal Fried Chicken in Bunkie for the past 15 years. He loved fishing, hunting and target shooting.

He is preceded in death by his father, Bob Gauthier; grandparents, Garvis and Olla Boney, and Doa and Loretta Gauthier; and numerous aunts and uncles.

Survivors include his wife, Avery Daigrepont Gauthier of Bunkie; his mother, Charlene Boney Gauthier of Bunkie; his brother, Danny Gauthier and wife Angela of Baton Rouge; and a sister, Stacey Descant and her husband Thomas of Cottonport; his nieces and nephews, Scott, Bobbi, Nicholas, and Emily Ferguson, Leslie Descant, Madison and Arial Gauthier, Josh, Audrey, and Adrian Fogleman, Zoie Carmouche, Hailey Birdlong, and Alex, Elizabeth, Isaac, and Olivia Ducote; his father and mother-in-law, Tim and Connie Daigrepont of Carencro; sisters-in-laws, Mary Fogleman, Layla Ducote, Emily and Megan Daigrepont; his godmother, Mary Boney Ribera and his uncle, Bobby Boney.

Friends may call from 5:00 p.m. on Sunday until 9:45 a.m. on Monday at Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.

A rosary will be cited at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.
