CELINA FONTENOT HIMEL
Funeral services for Celina Himel will be at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 2, 2012 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church with the Rev. Scott Chemino officiating. Burial will follow in the White's Chapel Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.
Ms. Himel, age 95 of Ville Platte, passed away on Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at her residence.
She is preceded in death by her husband Harry Himel, Jr. and a grandson, Gene Williams.
Survivors include three daughters, Yvonne H. Lutz and husband Clyde of Bunkie, Myrtle H. Williams of Bunkie, and Faye H. Billeaudeau and husband Kearnis of Ville Platte; 10 Grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and numerous great-great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday until 9:45 a.m. on Thursday at Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie. A wake service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will include: Robbie Lutz, Brian Lutz, Richard Williams, Derek Ferguson, Earl McCauley, and Clyde Latour.
