Funeral services for Catherine Blood will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 6, 2022 at the Lone Pine Baptist Church.  Burial will follow in the Griffin Hills Cemetery in Lone Pine.  Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.

Mrs. Blood, age 68 of Lone Pine, passed away on Thursday, August 4, 2022 at her residence.

She is preceded in death by her parents; Wintis, Jr. and Joyce Ducote Jeansonne.

Survivors include her husband of 49 years, Farley Gene Blood of Lone Pine; her children, Trampus P. Blood and wife Jessica of Hessmer, Ginney Blood of Lone Pine, Lucas C. Blood of Lone Pine, Colt J. Blood of Lone Pine and Abby E. Clark of Pine Prairie; her brothers, George Jeansonne of Evergreen, Larry Jeansonne of Bunkie, Chris Jeansonne and wife Catherine of Bunkie; her sisters, Jennifer Daigrepont of Cottonport, Connie Daigrepont of Plaucheville and Lisa Richard and husband Mark of Big Cane; her grandchildren, Gage Blood, Ashton Blood, Wyatt Blood, Tyler Fontenot, Hannah Andrus, Allie Andrus, Hailey Blood, Katie Blood, Shyann Blood, Chloe Blood, Curtlie Blood, Ollie Blood, Kadence Clark, Jace Clerk, Prestin Clark, Brandley Elliott and Hayden Elliott; and her great-grandchildren, Angus, Luke, Abel, Emma, Zoey and Paisley.

Friends may visit on Friday from 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. and Saturday from 8:00 a.m. until the time of service at 10:00 a.m. at the Lone Pine Baptist Church.
