A Mass of Christian Burial for Carl "Bubba" Clark will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 31, 2024 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Dupont with Rev. Joseph Desmoine officiating.  Burial will follow in the Mater Dolorosa Cemetery at a later date.  Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Plaucheville.

Mr. Clark, age 70 of Plaucheville, formerly of the Bayhills, passed away on Monday, August 26, 2024 at his residence.

He is preceded in death by a grandson, Skyler James King; his parents, Edwin, Jr. and Mildred Mitchell Clark; and two sisters, Nancy Juneau and Patricia Clark.

Survivors include his wife of 19 years, Peggy Bordelon Clark of Plaucheville; his daughters, Michelle C. Loewer (Scott) of Ball and Kristen C. King (Michael) of Ball; step-daughters, Karen Overgaard of Plaucheville and Jennie Richard of Plaucheville; a sister, Martha Sanfratel of Jasper, TN; grandchildren, Ashlyn Loewer, Brayden Loewer, Noah Overgaard, Kailey King, Cheyenne Overgaard, Carlee King, Tucker Overgaard, Amelia Richard and Declan Overgaard; and a great-grandson Grayson Loewer.

Friends may visit on Friday from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. and Saturday from 8:30 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. at Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Plaucheville.

Pallbearers will include:  Brayden Loewer, Noah Overgaard, Donnie Laborde, James Chenevert, Luke Weatherford and Justin Chenevert.  Honorary pallbearers are Todd Cullen and Glenn Bordelon.
