CARL RAY GAUTHIER
Funeral services for Carl Gauthier will be at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at Church of the Little Flower in Evergreen, with the Rev. Bartholomew Ibe officiating. Burial will follow in the First Baptist Cemetery in Cottonport. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.
Mr. Gauthier, age 56 of Cottonport, passed away on Sunday, July 27, 2014 at his residence.
He is preceded in death by his wife; Marie Gauthier; his father, Albert Ray Gauthier; his step-father, Thomas Jerry Herring; and a nephew, Bruce Carmouche, Jr.
Survivors include his son; Scott Gauthier of Cottonport; his daughter, Nancy Gauthier Pecanty of Cottonport; his mother, Barbara Harris Herring of Evergreen; his sisters, Stephanie Aymond of Dupont, Lula Carmouche of Hessmer, and Peggy Ducote of Plaucheville; and his grandchildren, Austin and Hunter Gauthier, Sara Clairady, and Brian and Michael Picanty.
Friends may visit from 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday until 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday at Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.
A rosary will be cited at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
