Funeral services for Carl Bordelon will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 10, 2022 in the chapel of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Plaucheville with Rev. Martin Laird officiating.  Burial will follow at a later date.  Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Plaucheville.

Mr. Bordelon, age 67 of Plaucheville, passed away on Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at the Opelousas General Hospital.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 44 years, Marjorie Graves Bordelon; and his parents, Welton and Lois LaCour Bordelon.

Survivors include his children, Robert Bordelon and his wife Kellie of Metairie and Heather Mauldin and husband Jimmy of Gulfport, MS; his brothers, Donald Bordelon, Barry Bordelon, Kenneth Bordelon and Glenn Bordelon; his sisters, Jackie Bordelon, Karen Rothman and Paula Lacassin; his grandchildren, Alexandra Bordelon and Taylier Boudreaux and great-granddaughter, Blakely Kerns.

Friends may visit on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. at Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Plaucheville.
