Graveside services for Byron Dupuy will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 28, 2025 at the Pythian Cemetery in Bunkie with Msgr. Stephen Scott Chemino officiating.   Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.

Byron was a 1971 graduate of Bunkie High School and worked for many years with Associated Office Systems of New Orleans.  He was an avid squirrel and duck hunter and loved spending time with his friends playing his guitars.

Mr. Dupuy, age 72 of Bunkie, passed away on Friday, May 23, 2025 at his residence.

He is preceded in death by his wife Laurie Ballay Dupuy; daughter, Codi Dupuy; and his parents, Lemmie J. and Theresa Gaspard Dupuy.

Survivors include the love of his life, Georgia K. Rachal of Bunkie and her daughter, Leigh Peters of Mandeville; his siblings, Ramona Parrino of Bunkie, Judith McNutt (William) of Baton Rouge, Keith Dupuy (Amy) of Brusly and Alethea Folse (Greg) of Sunset; and grandchildren, Kameron Barthelemy and Trip Peters.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. on Wednesday at Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.
