BURTON JOSEPH DUBROC
Funeral services for Burton Dubroc will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, December 9, 2010 in the chapel of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie with the Rev. Joe Montalbano officiating. Burial will follow in the Pythian Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.
Mr. Dubroc, age 81 of Bunkie, passed away on Saturday, December 4, 2010 in Baton Rouge.
Burton was a life long resident of Bunkie and retired from the U.S. Air Force after serving for 22 years.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Benton and Lilly Bordelon Dubroc; and his sister, Shirley Ann Brown.
Survivors include his nephews; Roger L. Brown and wife Jodi of Baton Rouge, and Douglas E. Brown of Baton Rouge; his great-nephews, Benton Joseph Brown of England and Christopher Scott Brown of Baton Rouge; his great-great-nieces, Alexis Brown and Natalie Brown; and great-great-nephews, Jessie Brown and Ethan Brown.
Pallbearers will include: B.J. Brown, Chris Brown, Nick Strange, Chris Sanders, Chalmer Woods and Randy Woods. Honorary pallbearers will be Lee Mouille, and Jonathan Deshotel.
Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday at Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie. A rosary will be held at 10:00 a.m.
