A Mass of Christian Burial for Bruce Cazelot will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 10, 2026 at Church of the Little Flower with Msgr. Stephen Scott Chemino officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.

Mr. Cazelot, age 67 of Bayhills, passed away on Thursday, March 5, 2026 at Christus St. Francis Cabrini Hospital.

He is preceded in death by his parents; Eston and Lila Ortego Cazelot; and siblings, Eston Cazelot, Jr., Janell Chenevert, Joyce Ducote and Patsy Dubroc.

Survivors include his wife of 45 1/2 years, Robin Oliver Cazelot of Bayhills; his daughters, Kelly C. Blankenship and husband Tyler of Bayhills and Amie C. Clark and husband Chase of Bayhills; his sister, Lois Gonzales (Mike) of Bunkie; brother, Bobby Cazelot (Judy) of Hessmer; and his grandchildren, Landon Blankenship, Rose Blankenship, Sadie Clark and Molly Clark.

Pallbearers will include:  Tony Gonzales, James Gonzales, Jamie Dubroc, Steve Francois, Casey Francois and Corey Oliver.

Friends may visit on Monday from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary at 6:00 p.m. and Tuesday from 8:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. at Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.
