A Mass of Christian Burial for Bridget Mayberry will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 16, 2026 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Dupont with Rev. Abraham Varghese officiating. Burial will follow in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Plaucheville.

Ms. Mayberry, age 51 of Dupont, passed away on Friday, June 12, 2026 at her residence. Bridget was a loving mother, daughter, sister and nanny.

She is preceded in death by her father, James Mayberry, Jr.; a brother, James J. Mayberry, III; maternal grandparents, J.T. and Antoinette Guillot; and paternal grandparents, Jimmy and Delores Mayberry.

Survivors include her daughter, Ava Rose Mayberry of Dupont; her mother, Marie Guillot Mayberry of Dupont; sister, Cathy M. St. Romain (Eddie) of Dupont; brother, Travis Mayberry (Katie) of Plaucheville; and numerous nieces, nephews, and godchildren.

Friends may visit on Monday from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary at 6:00 p.m. and Tuesday from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at the Immaculate Conception Church Hall in Dupont.
