BRIAN JOHN DUPONT

Funeral services for Brian John Dupont will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 27, 2013 in the chapel of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie with the Rev. David Broussard officiating. Burial will follow in the Hebert Cemetery in Morrow. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.
Mr. Dupont, age 46 of Morrow, passed away on Friday, May 24, 2013 at his residence.
He was a long time employee of Slemco and an avid outdoorsman. His joy was hunting with his boys.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents; Pierce, Sr. and Mildred Dupont; and James and Elsie Clark; a brother, Elum "Joey" Dupont, Jr.; and his father-in-law George Hubbard.
Survivors include his wife of 23 years; Shannon Hubbard Dupont of Morrow; two sons, Brock Allen Dupont and Joshua James Dupont, both of Morrow; his parents, Elum J. and Loretta Clark Dupont of Dupont; a brother, Rickey Paul Dupont and his wife Christy of Dupont; a sister, Brenda Kay Dupont McClain and her husband Jonathon of Walker; his mother-in-law, Janet Hubbard of Morrow; his brother-in-law, Scott Hubbard of Morrow, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends may call from 5:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m. on Sunday and 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. on Monday at Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.
