Funeral services for Beverly Ann Mayeaux will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 10, 2024 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Dupont with Rev. Abraham Varghese officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Plaucheville.

Mrs. Mayeaux, age 84, a native of Plauhceville, LA but resided in Houston, TX, passed away on Saturday, July 27, 2024 after putting up a good fight against cancer.

Beverly and Paul traveled the world and made so many wonderful friends along the way.  Although Paul left us in 2006, Beverly lived a full life visiting friends and watching the family grow and continued to send out greeting cards till the very end.  Hallmark will miss her the most.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Paul Howard Mayeaux; sons, Howard Paul Mayeaux and Darren Martin Mayeaux; her parents, Ogile and Virgie Duplechin; and sister, Lois Harris.

Survivors include her daughter, Donna Mayeaux of Galveston; grandchildren, Jason and Katie Mayeaux, Jason and Jennifer Skaife, Justin and Jessica Krejci, and another Jessica Krejci and Ryan Green and great-grandchildren, Addison and Lila Mayeaux, Nolen and Emery Skaife, Emilia and Eleanor Krejci and Wyatt Green.  In addition to immediate family, she is survived by the next best thing, her lifelong friends Emma Lee Mayeaux, and Pauline and Rex Willis.

On behalf of the family, a huge thank you to mom's friends and family for the continued support, calls, cards, and encouragement give to her during the last few months.  Mom appreciated every single one of them.

And a special thank you to mom's cousin Vera Bordelon who stepped in and helped with all the planning.
