BERTHA SMALL JOHNSON
Funeral services for Bertha Johnson will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 1, 2013 at St. John Community Church Baptist with the Rev. Charles Guillory officiating. Burial will follow in the St. John Cemetery in Marksville. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.
Ms. Johnson, age 54 of Marksville, passed away on Thursday, May 23, 2013 at Grace Home in Alexandria.
She is preceded in death by; her parents, Foster and Sadie Coleman Small; and two brothers, Raymond Small and Albert Joseph Small.
Survivors include two sons; Daniel M. Johnson, Sr. of Baton Rouge, Foster J. Johnson of Great Falls, MT; two daughters, Jalisa Johnson of Marksville and Sadie Johnson of Baton Rouge; one sister, Angela Laurent of Cottonport; four grandchildren, Samyra Johnson, Daniel M. Johnson, Jr., Ka'Nyria Woods, and Justin Draper; and her husband Daniel Johnson, Sr. of Marksville.
Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. at St. John Community Church in Marksville.
