Obituary
A Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Barbara Roy will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, September 15, 2025 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church with Msgr. Stephen Scott Chemino officiating. Burial will follow in the Pythian Mausoleum. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.
Mrs. Roy, age 88 of Bunkie, passed away on Tuesday, September 9, 2025 at the T. Boone Pickens Hospice and Palliative Care Center in Dallas, Tx.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Roy; a son, Brent Roy and parents, Willie and Ludie Armand Bordelon.
Survivors include her son; Mitchell Roy and wife Susan of Waxahachie, TX; her grandchildren, Rebecca Darrouzet (Stephen) and Megan Roy (Tatum); and her great-grandchildren, Evangeline and Juniper Darrouzet.
Friends may visit on Monday from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. at Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.
