BARBARA JEAN RAMOS
Funeral services for Barbara Ramos will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church with the Rev. Basil Burns officiating. Burial will follow in the Cushman Cemetery in Marksville. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.
Mrs. Ramos, age 68 of Wadsworth, TX, formerly of Bunkie, passed away on Sunday, March 4, 2012 at her residence.
She is preceded in death by her mother; Cecile St. Romain.
Survivors include her husband; Enrique Ramos of Wadsworth, TX; three sons, Gerald Palmisano (Windy) of Van Vleck, TX, Greg Palmisano (Rhonda) of San Augustine, TX, and Enrique Ramos, Jr. (Eliza) of Valdosta, GA; two daughters, Regina Saucier of Pineville, and Connie Hart (Kenny) of Pinetta, FL; one sister, Marie Henery of Arabi; two brothers, Joseph Mitchell of Moreauville, and Lawrence Miller of Mansura; grandchildlren, Dustin Hernandez (Tiffany), Kelby Hernandez, Justin Palmisano, Ethan Ramos, Elijah Ramos, Pebbles Hart, Soni Hart, Larry Moore, and Jennifer Spradley; great-grandchildren, Tristen Hernandez, Mason Wyatt, Kelsi Moore and Laith Moore.
Friends may call from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday and 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. on Wednesday at Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.
A wake service will be held at 6:30 on Tuesday evening.
