Funeral services for Barbara Cason will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday June 23, 2018 at Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home with the Dr. Jack Bell officiating. Burial will follow in the Cason Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.

Ms. Cason, age 79 of Bunkie, passed away on Thursday, June 21, 2018 at Bayou Visit Community Care Center.

She is preceded in death by her parents; J.F. and Felonese Chelette Cason.

Survivors include her two brothers, Charles L. Cason and wife Pat of Bunkie and Jeffery Cason of Bunkie; and her sisters, Cora Carraway of Princeton, KY, Julia Asbra of Bunkie, Helen Owens of Bunkie, Jenny Soileau of LaPlace, Linda Redmon of Bunkie and Sandra Carter of Big Cane.
Friends may visit from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.

Pallbearers will include; Todd Cason, Philip Bell, Tommy Rabalais, Buddy Hicks, Robert Chelette and Charles Cason. Honorary pallbearers will be Seth Cason and Larry Asbra.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Megan Williams and the staff at Bayou Vista Community Care Center and All Saints Hospice for their kindness and care they gave Barbara Ann.
