ANTERIO JOSEPH MADRIGAL, SR.

Funeral services for Anterio Madrigal, Sr. will be at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 14, 2013 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church with the Rev. Joseph Xavier officiating. Burial will follow. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.
Mr. Madrigal, age 84 of Bunkie, passed away on Monday, February 11, 2013 at his residence.
He is preceded in death by a daughter, Yolanda Madrigal; a grandson, Logan Ponthier; his parents, Euteme and Epifania Hernandez Madrigal; a sister, Valentine Madrigal and three brothers, Augustine Madrigal, Carlos Madrigal, and Bart Madrigal.
Survivors include two sons; Anterio Madrigal, Jr. and his wife Maryann of Bunkie and Santana Madrigal of Bunkie; three daughters, Andria Madrigal of Bunkie, Avelina Madrigal of Bunkie and Toni Sauseda of Mangum, OK; one brother, Jimmy Madrigal of Evergreen; two sisters, Maggie Carmella of Goudeau and Theresa Sauseda of Pollock; his grandchildren, Paul, Travis, Brandon, Yolanda, Avelia, Elizabeth, Nicole, Jacob, Yvette, Daniel, and Adrianna; and 30 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday until 9:45 a.m. on Thursday at Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.
A rosary will be cited at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
