Obituary
Mrs. Alpha, age 79 of Bunkie, passed away on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at The Bailey Place in Bunkie.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, George Pickney Alpha; two sons, Mark Davis Alpha and Curtis Paul Alpha; her parents, Dupre and Ophelie Leleaux Meaux; her brothers, Dalton Herby Meaux, William Lloyd Meaux, Robert Allen Meaux, Dupre Marie Meaux, Jr., and Chester Lee Meaux; and her sisters, Mary Nettie Meaux Guillot, Beulah Mae Meaux Beuker, Bertha Rose Meaux Andrus and Marie Elaine Meaux Rock.
Survivors include her children, Shelia Alpha Saucier and husband Jason of Cottonport, and Flattop Daniel Alpha and wife LeeAnn of Cottonport; her grandchildren, Hailey Marie Alpha, Harold Edward Alpha, Curtis Paul Alpha, Jr., Sarah Elizabeth Saucier Armand, Laura Gabriel Saucier and Alexis Delia Alpha; and her great-grandchildren, Aiden Xain Alpha, Vivian JoAnn Armand and Holden Pearson Alpha.
Friends may visit with the family from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.
