Private graveside services for Marie Soileau will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2020 at the Bayou Jacque Church of Christ Cemetery with Rev. Danny Broussard officiating.  Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.

Mrs. Soileau, age 80 of Big Cane, passed away on Wednesday, April 8, 2020 at Avoyelles Manor Nursing Home.

She is preceded in death by her husband Floyd Soileau; a son, Robin Soileau; her parents, Ossie and Gertrude Goudeau Hammond; and a sister, Myrtle O'Neal.

Survivors include her children, Keith Soileau and wife Elaine of Baton Rouge, Terry Soileau and wife Missy of Covington and Debbie Soileau of Oakdale; a brother, Roger Dale Hammond and wife Jaki of Morrow; sister, Virgie Dalgo of Bayou Jacque; 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
