Funeral services for Anita Goudeau will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, August 22, 2022 in the chapel of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie with Bro. Bill Hously officiating.  Burial will follow in the Morrow Baptist Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.

Mrs. Goudeau, age 87 of Scott, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 17, 2022 at her home.

She is preceded in death by her husbands, Philip Kohler and Phil Goudeau; her parents, J.A. and Berta Lee Hudson Vannoy; sisters, Beth Cheek and Glynn Johnson; brother, Benny Vannoy and step-son, Steven Goudeau.

Survivors include her sons; Thomas Kohler (Kay) of Cabot, AR, Joel Kohler (Susan) of Porter, TX, and Michael Kohler of Lafayette; step-daughters, Phyllis Maloney of Houston, TX, Kay McGhee of Robert, LA, Stacy Goudeau of Pineville and Lisa Goudeau of Pineville; her grandchildren, Cameron Kohler, Jessica Heatherly, Erica Kaiser, Jordan Kohler, Alyson Kohler and MacKenzie Kohler; 6 great-grandchildren and numerous step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Friends may visit on Sunday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Monday from 8:00 a.m. until the time of service at 10:00 a.m. at Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.
