A Mass of Christian Burial for Allen Lee Norris, Sr. will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church with the Rev. Stephen Scott Chemino, V.G. officiating. Burial will follow in the Pythian Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.

Mr. Norris, age 62 of Bunkie, passed away on Friday, July 15, 2016 at his residence.

He is preceded in death by his parents; Charles Vernon and Anton Ferguson Norris.

Survivors include his children; Michelle Norris, Allen Lee Norris, Jr. and his wife Tammy and Sherry Powers and her husband Matt all of Robert, LA; an uncle, William "Bill" Ferguson of Bunkie; three aunts, Joyce Deville of Bunkie, Ruthie Mae Wiggins of Cottonport and Susie McKnight of Arkansas; twelve grandchildren, Kib Norris, Dylan Norris, Blaine Powers, Jordan Powers, Dustin Dickens, Dalton Dickens, Kayla Norris, Chloe Norris, Allena Norris, Triston Norris, Hunter Norris and Landon Norris; and three great-grandchildren, Gracelyn Norris, McKinleigh Powers and Hayden Norris.

Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday until 9:45 a.m. on Wednesday at Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie. A rosary will be cited at 6:30 on Tuesday at the funeral home.
