ALLEN PAUL DAUZAT
Funeral services for Allen Dauzat will be at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 17, 2012 in the chapel of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie. Burial will follow in the Pythian Cemetery in Bunkie. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.
Mr. Dauzat, age 67 of Bunkie, passed away on Friday, July 13, 2012 at Rapides Regional Medical Center.
He was retired from the Columbia Carbon Plant as well as Angola and an avid outdoorsman.
He is preceded in death by his father, Ben Dauzat; and a brother, Dewayne Dauzat.
Survivors include his fiancé, Georgia St. Amand of Bunkie; two sons, Paul Dauzat and his wife Jeanne of Baton Rouge, and Keith Dauzat of Bunkie; his mother, Myra Dauzat of Bunkie; three brothers, Robert Dauzat and his wife Nieves of Spain, John Dauzat and his wife Christine of Bunkie, and Matt Dauzat and his wife Cynthia of Bunkie; and six grandchildren.
Friends may call from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Monday and 8:00 a.m. until the time of service at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday at Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.
