It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Adriane Rachal on Thursday, May 26, 2022 at Christus St. Francis Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria.

Adriane was born on January 8, 1978 to Earl and Regina Coleman Rachal.  She was a graduate of Barbe High School and earned her Music Education Degree from McNeese State University.  We went on to become the band director at St. Paul's High School in Covington.

Adriane was a devoted daughter, sister and aunt.  She was cute, funny, sarcastic and loved to talk, always getting the last word in.  She was the best trumpet player around and loved teaching music to her students.

She is survived by her mother, Regina C. Rachal of Goudeau; her father, Earl Rachal and wife Mary of Carlyss; her brother, Christopher Rachal of Carlyss; sister, Sarah Williamson and husband Wayne of Austin; and her nephew, Elliot Williamson.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date and burial will follow in the Big Cane Baptist Cemetery.
