IN LOVING MEMORY OF
A.B.
Mcglothlin
December 10, 1943 – November 29, 2024
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of A.B. McGlothlin, a caring father, dedicated professional, and cherished member of our family. A.B. departed this life peacefully, after a long battle with COPD, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and hard work.
A proud member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW), A.B. dedicated his career to the electrical trade, earning the respect and admiration of colleagues and clients alike for his expertise, work ethic, and integrity. His contributions to the field and the camaraderie he shared with fellow electricians were a source of great pride throughout his life.
Beyond his professional achievements, A.B. was an avid fisherman who found joy and peace on the water. Whether casting a line or swapping stores, his love for fishing was a defining part of his life and a passion he shared with friends and family.
A.B. was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Shirley, with whom he shared a life of love, partnership, and countless cherished memories. Together, they built a family rooted in love, resilience, and togetherness.
He is survived by his three children: Michael McGlothlin, Ken Lopinto, and Kim McGlothlin and their families.
Known for his caring and fun-loving spirit, A.B. touched the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know him. His gentle guidance, steadfast support, and kind ear will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
A private service will be held in honor of A.B., celebrating his remarkable life and the love he so generously gave. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to the American Lung Assosciation in his memory.
Rest in peace, A.B. McGlothlin. Your love, dedication, and legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved you.
